"Bongos Ikwue Never Had A Child With Late Maryam Babangida"

You may have for a long time now heard the rumor that legendary Nigerian singer, Bongos Ikwue was dumped by the late Maryam Babangida for the ex-military leader, General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida (IBB). Another version of that rumor had it that Maryam even had a child for the singer before dumping him for IBB. The rumors were tied to a song by Bongos titled Mariama
Well on Twitter, one of the daughters of the legendary singer, Jessica Bongos-Ikwue has classified that rumor as falsehood. Bongos was just done performing at the inaugural gala night when Twitter user @FoluShaw tweeted that the singer and Maryam Babangida had a child together. Jessica promptly replied 'FALSE!!!' The tweet has since been deleted.
