McDonalds Gets Sued For $1.5m Over Napkin Incident

A Californian man is suing fast-food giants, McDonalds for $1.5million. What could have been McDonalds offence? The man, Webster Lucas claims he is suing because he was served his meal with just one napkin

Popular Gossip blog, TMZ reports that Lucas claims he had ordered a Quarter Pounder Deluxe but was given only a napkin. When he went up to the counter to ask for more napkins, he was refused his request rudely by the manager who insisted he had some already.

Lucas who is a black replied:
"I should have went to eat at the Jack-in-the-Box because I didn't come here to argue over napkins. I came here to eat."
According to the lawsuit, a racist remark was made by the Mexican-American manager following Lucas' remarks. It is reported that the manager said something thought to be, "you people."

It was then Lucas sent a mail to the general manager to complain that he couldn't work well because of the "undue mental anguish" he was suffering from the napkin incident. Lucas claims he was further insulted as he was offered free burgers as a sort of paliative.

Well, Mr Lucas now wants $1.5 million.
