U.S. hip-hop star Lil Wayne says he is planning his retirement after 19 years in the music industry.
The 30-year-old rapper is promoting his 10th solo album, "I Am Not a Human Being II," which is set for release in February.
Asked on MTV if the CD is part of his "Tha Carter" series of albums, Lil Wayne replied, "It's like a 'Carter V'."
So, why not call it that?
"Because I know y'all want me around for a little bit, and 'Carter V' is my last album," Lil Wayne told MTV.com. "Man, I've been rappin' since I was 8 years old. I'm 30 now, man. That's a long time, man."
The website said it is unclear when "Tha Carter V" might be recorded or released or if any other Lil Wayne albums will come before it
